Last week, after waiting three long years, I got the chance to see Kanye West live for the third time. St. Pablo tour was especially exciting because I was going with my baby sister who is finally an adult! Both of us are obsessed with Kanye and had been looking forward to this for months.
I had previously been to Yeezus and Watch the Throne and so my expectations were pretty high. I tried my best not to watch any videos that were already all over Youtube. Though I failed, I certainly didn't let it spoil anything. This time around, Kanye went for a really minimalist theme, with the lights and the music being the center of the show versus extravagant set designs or insane visuals he's gone with before. Often times you couldn't even see Kanye. I was totally digging the floating stage and his vision really came together to create an amazing experience.
I wasn't able to sneak past with my DSLR this time, but I did manage to get some pretty cool shots on my Samsung Galaxy S7! Below are a few of my favorites.
Today my baby sister graduated high school and I am absolutely blown away! She gradated with honors in the top 7% of her class with a GPA 4.086! (RIGHT?!?!) Below are some pictures of her and her best friends along with my beautiful family!
For my very last spring break I decided to visit SXSW in Austin! I saw a ton of great shows and was able to capture some amazing moments. Shout out to my Breadwinner family who showed OUT at SXSW and to all the amazing performers I got to meet and shoot last week.
Check out a recap of a few of my favorite shows and some of my favorite stills.
I hope you all enjoyed your holidays with family, friends, and food! Myself, I have been enjoying a long vacation in Virginia with my mom, dad, and baby sister! We've traveled all over the beautiful state of Virginia and I have to say, Texas may have some competition!
Thomas Jefferson's Monticello
After listening to my sister singing "Hamilton" tracks over and over, we decided to go see "whatever the hell" Jefferson does in Monticello! Here are a few pics from the beautiful and historical estate!
I'll be the first to admit I am not the outdoorsy or the athletic type, however, hiking in the Shenandoah mountains was one of the best parts of my vacation! The colors paired with the fog made for one heck of a view!
After months of waiting and anticipation I got to travel to Green Bay, WI with my dad to see our Green Bay Packers whoop the Cowboys 28-7! Having been a Packer fan all my life, Lambeau was a trip I had been longing for for year. Thanks to my dad and my hero, we made it to Green Bay, got rained on, probably got trench foot, but had the best day ever. Here are a handful of pics and video clips from the game!
PS: I found out you can get married at Lambeau so I am now accepting engagement applications.
Thanks for checking out the new site and welcome to the first blog post!
Yesterday, I had the EXTREME pleasure of capturing a pivotal moment in the life of one of my dear friends. Phil popped the question, and I was hiding in the shadows to capture the surprise. It took a lot of coordinating, but this has been one of my favorite sessions yet. There's nothing like being able to witness and document such an amazing moment in a couple's lives.
Capturing memories. Telling stories.
